MechDesigner 14 - Calculate Cam Coordinates and Transfer to SOLIDWORKS.

This is Part 3 of a series of tutorials videos to help you get started with MechDesigner 14. This tutorial transfers Cam-Coordinates from a Cam we have modelled already - see Part 2 below, to a SOLIDWORKS cam blank. We use the Cam-Data we transfer from MechDesigner to cut the cam surfaces. The cam is perfectly smooth, to create a consistent Cam Mate in an Assembly. The Cam is normally manufactured from the CAm-Data. You can also export the Cam-Data as TXT or STEP file/. As well as Points, you can use BiArcs, which maintain tangency around the cam. 'BiArcs' are more suitable for NC programming.
