Calculate Cam Coordinates for Manufacture in different file-formats

MechDesigner can calculate cam-profile coordinates in many different forms

  • X, Y at equal machine steps
  • Bi-Arcs - these guarantee tangential arcs for the complete cam profile. This format is very efficient for old CNC machines.
  • DXF - to import directly to CNC and CAM software.
  • STEP - to import directly to CNC and CAM software.

Cam-profiles are calculated quickly and exactly. We find the cam profile exactly from Inverse-Kinematics and Forward-Kinematics. we calculate the exact position, velocity, and acceleration equations for all parts in the mechanisms. This mean we can calculate exact cam-profiles.
