Cam and Roller Lifetime Estimations

This video uses the tube transfer model shown in the previous video to demonstrate cam and roller lifetimes. The Cam lifetime calculation has been adapted from ISO 6336, which concerns gear lifetimes.  Gears and cams have similar contact mechanics making the ISO 6336 compatible with Cam lifetime estimation. We have also added the Lifetime Modification Factors for the Roller lifetime. These include reliability, lubrication, and contamination factors, as specified in ISO 281.
