If the Line for the Rack is not parallel with he Sliding Joint, then the Rack is inclined with the Line and not the Sliding Joint.

If a Line in the Pinion is not joined at a Pin-Joint, then the Line moves to the Pin-Joint and dislocates the Pin-Joint...
